The Story Behind RHC
How a casino sign became a revolution
Why RHC Exists
I've traveled all over the country—all over the world, really—and everywhere I went, I saw the same story playing out. Beautiful, talented women trapped in small towns. Especially in North Carolina, where I witnessed stunning women stuck in poverty, marrying young, having children, and never making it out. Never getting that one chance. Never having someone see the spark in them.
And this doesn't just happen in one place—it happens all over America, all over the world. Incredible talent that never gets discovered because they don't have the right connections, the right agent, or the money to break into an industry that's supposed to celebrate beauty and creativity.
That's when I knew something had to change.
The Industry Problems I've Seen
The "Discovery" Myth
I've seen too many photographers find a model, take a few mediocre pictures, and suddenly think they own her. "I discovered you," they say. But did he really? Or did she discover herself? Maybe he just got the opportunity to take her picture. The talent was always there.
The Agency Shelf
I always got a kick out of how agencies operate. If you look like a famous model—if your look is so close to a superstar's—they stick you on a bookshelf and you don't get work. Why? Because they're busy promoting the superstar, and you're just in the way. I always thought that was deeply unfair.
The Commission Problem
And then there's the money. Agents taking huge commissions from models who are already struggling to make ends meet. The people doing the work—the talent—shouldn't have to give away half their paycheck just to get in the door.
How "RockHardChic" Was Born
One day, I was leaving the Hard Rock Casino, and I looked up at their sign. Something clicked in my mind—I just switched it around. Rock Hard.
Then I remembered those jeans from the '70s—the ones every girl wore. Chic jeans. That word just felt right.
RockHardChic. RHC.
A name that represents strength, style, attitude, and elegance all at once.
What "Chic" Really Means
Being chic means being stylish, fashionable, and sophisticated—but it's more than just clothes. It's an effortless elegance in your whole presentation, manner, and character. It suggests smart taste, refinement, and a cool, confident demeanor that adapts trends to personal style.
It's about looking put-together without appearing to try too hard. It encompasses a certain attitude, lifestyle, and even how you treat people.

What RHC Is Really About
This company is about YOU being YOU in your own personal style. Rock Hard Chic is about kicking ass and taking names.
✨ RockHardChic is the soccer mom who picks up the kids and brings them to practice.
✨ RockHardChic is the mom raising 4 girls who all want to be cheerleaders—the mom who's writing cheers, buying pom-poms, and cheering them on from the sidelines.
✨ RockHardChic is NOT about having a perfect body. It's about dressing right, taking care of yourself, and knowing what looks good on YOU.
Clothing companies sell clothes to everyone. But RHC? We celebrate everyone. Every shape, every size, every background, every story.
The RHC Mission
I wanted to start a company that didn't take commissions.
A company that gave girls and boys a chance to meet photographers all over the world.
A place where anyone—no matter where they're from—could have the chance to become a star.
That's RockHardChic.
